Critical Analysis of Broadcasting in 2025

As broadcasting is fast becoming a popular way to spread information and news in social media. Therefore, I would like to explain its trend in the future years, like in 2025, which included the flexibility of the show content, the target group of the audience and side effect of its growth.

First of all, The future of content creation will soon depend on the social experience, like we can find it easily in our daily life. With the progressing of the technology, people nowadays can use their laptop or even smartphone to have a better understanding on social media, such like the meme or videos etc. Consumer are able to follow different contents from their device to device, or in different region.( Wired, 2012), which means you can more easily to get the information or news from different new media platform , not only from the traditional one like TV or radio.

In addition, the younger generation will be becoming the major target group in the future. According to the research of MediaGuru, they had noticed that there is a great increase in the popularity of streaming service like Netflix etc. (MediaGuru, 2017). Teenagers keen on sharing and spreading the news or information to the others, they have a great influence for creating and thinking up more ideas to spread them in different online platform, which can also attract another large sum of people to have an interest for observing more.

Last but not least, the progressing of broadcasting causes a significant impacts on the advertisement development. For the achievement, the advertisement companies can use this trend as an opportunity to gain more. Not only for the local comsuming, but also in the international market, more audience may have an interest to consume under this behaviour, which can help boosting the advertisement industry in overseas market. In case of Turner, the growth in its international segment helped to fight off a decline in domestic subscribers. (FierceCable, 2017) Moreover, it can also lead to an exploded retransmission revenues, such like ESPN, one of the biggest channel for broadcasting sports.
